     Margaret Fenton was the daughter of James Fenton.1 She married Edward Clive Bayley, son of Thomas Butterworth Bayley and Mary Leggatt, on 2 July 1814 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 She was buried at Protestant Cemetery, Smolensk, RussiaG.1
     From 2 July 1814, her married name became Bayley.1

     Sir Edward Clive Bayley was born on 17 October 1821 at St. Petersburg, RussiaG.1 He was the son of Edward Clive Bayley and Margaret Fenton.1 He married Emily Anne Theophilia Metcalfe, daughter of Sir Thomas Theophilus Metcalfe, 4th Bt. and Félicité Anne Browne, on 6 March 1850 at Delhi, IndiaG.1 He died on 30 April 1884 at age 62 at Wilminton Lodge, Keymer.1
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was with the Bengal Civil Service between 1842 and 1854.1 He was a Judge at Agra, IndiaG.1 He held the office of Foreign Secretary to the Government of India.1 He held the office of Home Secretary between 1862 and 1872.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.) on 1 January 1877.1

     Emily Anne Theophilia Metcalfe was the daughter of Sir Thomas Theophilus Metcalfe, 4th Bt. and Félicité Anne Browne.2 She married Sir Edward Clive Bayley, son of Edward Clive Bayley and Margaret Fenton, on 6 March 1850 at Delhi, IndiaG.1 She died on 29 October 1960.2
     From 6 March 1850, her married name became Bayley.1
