     Captain George John Newman Beamish was the son of Captain Samuel George Beamish and Hannah Slingsby.1 He died unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 14th Regiment.1

     John Newman Beamish was born in 1813.1 He was the son of William Beamish and Harriet Newman.1 He married Ellen Lidwell, daughter of George Lidwell, on 6 July 1852 in a childless marriage.1 He died on 23 October 1886.1
     He was a practising Attorney.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Queenstown, County Cork, IrelandG.1

Ellen Lidwell1

     Ellen Lidwell was the daughter of George Lidwell.1 She married, firstly, John Barrett O'Sullivan.1 She married, secondly, John Newman Beamish, son of William Beamish and Harriet Newman, on 6 July 1852 in a childless marriage.1
     Her married name became O'Sullivan.1 From 6 July 1852, her married name became Beamish.1

John Barrett O'Sullivan1

     John Barrett O'Sullivan married Ellen Lidwell, daughter of George Lidwell.1 He died before 6 July 1852, when his widow remarried.1

Reverend Adam Newman Beamish1

     Reverend Adam Newman Beamish was born in 1815.1 He was the son of William Beamish and Harriet Newman.1 He married Mary Catherine Newman, daughter of Adam Newman, on 26 April 1848.1 He died on 26 October 1876.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1837 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was ordained in 1840.1 He was the Rector between 1858 and 1859 at Studley, Wells, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector between 1859 and 1863 at Kimble, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He was Treasurer in 1863 at Cloyne Cathedral, Cloyne, County Cork, IrelandG.1

     Mary Catherine Newman was the daughter of Adam Newman.1 She married, firstly, Richard Townsend, son of Thomas Townsend and Martha Uniacke, on 22 September 1829.1 She married, secondly, Reverend Adam Newman Beamish, son of William Beamish and Harriet Newman, on 26 April 1848.1
     From 22 September 1829, her married name became Townsend.1 From 26 April 1848, her married name became Beamish.1

Adam Newman1

     Adam Newman was the son of Adam Newman and Mary Townsend.2 He married Frances Dorothea Dring, daughter of Reverend Robert Dring and Eleanor Fitzgerald, in 1803.3 He died on 6 August 1859.4
