     Sir William Becher was born on 24 April 1628.1 He was the son of Oliver Becher and Elizabeth Tate.1 He married, firstly, Frances St. John, daughter of Oliver St. John, 5th Baron Saint John of Bletso and Lady Arabella Egerton, with issue.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Howley, daughter of John Howley, they were parents. She was a widow at the time of this marriage.1 He died on 5 October 1694 at age 66.1
     He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1660.1 He lived at Fotheringay, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1 He also lived at Howberry, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1

     Richard Hungerford was born circa 1709.2 He was the son of Thomas Hungerford and Susannah Becher.3 He married, secondly, Mary Hungerford, daughter of Reverend Emanuel Hungerford and unknown wife (?).3 He married, firstly, Mary Cranfield Becher, daughter of Sir John Becher and Mary Cranfield, circa 1737.3,2 He died on 1 August 1784.2

     Elizabeth Howley was the daughter of John Howley.1 She married, firstly, Thomas Hillersdon.1 She married, secondly, Sir William Becher, son of Oliver Becher and Elizabeth Tate, they were parents. She was a widow at the time of this marriage.1 Her will was proven (by probate) on 24 January 1704/5.1
     Her married name became Hillersdon.1 Her married name became Becher.1
