     Colonel Francis John Biddulph was born on 18 August 1896.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Nicholas Trafalgar Biddulph and Marion Flora Campbell Warburton.2 He married, firstly, Una Dorothy Kendall Tancock, daughter of Colonel Osborne Kendall Tancock and Theodosia Louisa Hartnell, on 28 March 1922.1 He married, secondly, Shelia Violet Biddulph, daughter of Major Hugh Wray Biddulph and Violet Martyn, on 29 June 1974.1
