     Sir Jonathan Roger Weatherby was born on 30 November 1959.1,2 He is the son of Christopher Nicholas Weatherby and Alison Beatrix Pease.3 He married Sophie F. Cliffe-Jones, daughter of David Roger G. Cliffe-Jones and Margaret N. A. Fitzmaurice, in 1993.1
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)2 He was The Queen's Representative at Ascot between 2011 and 2020.2
