     Andrew Moncreiffe was the son of William Moncreiffe of that Ilk, younger and Jean Oliphant.² He married Jonet Moncreiffe, daughter of David Moncreiffe.¹ He died on 8 August 1596.¹
     He was the Minister at Crail, Scotland^G.² He was Commendator of Elcho.¹

     David Moncreiffe was Apparent of Tippermaloch.¹

     Jonet Moncreiffe is the daughter of David Moncreiffe.² She married Andrew Moncreiffe, son of William Moncreiffe of that Ilk, younger and Jean Oliphant.¹

     Hew Moncreiffe was the son of William Moncreiffe of that Ilk, younger and Jean Oliphant.² He married, firstly, Helen Dundas of Fingask.¹ He married, secondly, Agnes Dischington, daughter of Thomas Dischington of Ardross.² He died after 6 November 1635.¹
     In 1600 he was wounded trying to save his host in the Gowrie House Affair.¹ He was later pardoned by King James VI personally.¹ He lived at the Cotes of Elcho, Scotland^G.¹

     Helen Dundas of Fingask married Hew Moncreiffe, son of William Moncreiffe of that Ilk, younger and Jean Oliphant.¹
     Her married name became Moncreiffe.¹

     James Moncreiffe was the son of William Moncreiffe, 10th of that Ilk and Margaret Murray.² He married Margaret Balnavis, daughter of James Balnavis.¹ He died before 29 November 1596.¹
     He lived at Barnhill, Dunbartonshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Margaret Balnavis was the daughter of James Balnavis.² She married James Moncreiffe, son of William Moncreiffe, 10th of that Ilk and Margaret Murray.¹ She died on 22 October 1613.¹
     Her married name became Moncreiffe.¹ She was also known as Margaret Piper.

     John Moncreiffe was the son of William Moncreiffe, 10th of that Ilk and Margaret Murray.² He died in December 1579, murdered by the Master of Oliphant.²
     He was the Vicar at Dunbarny, Scotland^G.¹

     Alexander Moncreiffe was the son of William Moncreiffe, 10th of that Ilk and Margaret Murray.² He married Euphame Crichton of Strathurd.¹ He died on 8 December 1610.¹
     He was ancestor of the Moncreiffs of Culfargie and Bandirran, the Moncreiffs of Minmonth, and in the female line, the Scott-Moncreiffs.¹
