     Lieutenant William Blood was born circa 1787.1 He was the son of Richard Blood.1 He married Hannah Swete on 28 October 1823.1 He died on 26 August 1826.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 15th Foot.1

     Hannah Swete married, firstly, Lieutenant William Blood, son of Richard Blood, on 28 October 1823.1 She married, secondly, Nicholls Cole Bowen, son of Reverend Nicholls Cole Bowen and Bryanna Travers, on 8 October 1840.1 She died on 18 November 1862.2
     She lived at Spittle, Abbeymahon, County Cork, IrelandG.1 From 28 October 1823, her married name became Blood.1 From 8 October 1840, her married name became Bowen.1
