     Anne Lewyn was the daughter of William Lewyn.1 She married Sir Lawrence Washington, son of Lawrence Washington and Martha Newce, in 1609.1 She died on 18 June 1645.1
     From 1609, her married name became Washington.1

     Anne Ferrers was the daughter of Sir Humphrey Ferrers.1 She married Hon. Robert Shirley, son of Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers and Elizabeth Washington, on 27 September 1688.2 She died in March 1698, from small pox.3 She was buried at Staunton Harold, Leicestershire, England.3
     From 27 September 1688, her married name became Shirley.1

Robert Shirley was born on 4 September 1673.1 He was the son of Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers and Elizabeth Washington.2 He and Catherine Venables were engaged.1 He married Anne Ferrers, daughter of Sir Humphrey Ferrers, on 27 September 1688.2 He died on 25 February 1698/99 at age 25, from smallpox.1 He was buried at Staunton Harold, Leicestershire, England, from small pox.3
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) on 11 January 1699.4
