     Katherine Shirley was the daughter of Evelyn Philip Shirley and Mary Clara Elizabeth Lechmere.² She married Captain Arthur Horatio Shirley, son of Reverend Arthur George Sewallis Shirley and Mary Beadon Turner, on 14 November 1899.¹ She died on 25 April 1945, without issue.¹
     From 14 November 1899, her married name became Shirley.

     Captain Arthur Horatio Shirley was born on 25 June 1854.² He was the son of Reverend Arthur George Sewallis Shirley and Mary Beadon Turner.² He married Katherine Shirley, daughter of Evelyn Philip Shirley and Mary Clara Elizabeth Lechmere, on 14 November 1899.¹ He died on 30 November 1933 at age 79, without issue.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.²

     Maj.-Gen. Arthur Shirley was born on 8 February 1813.¹ He was the son of Evelyn John Shirley and Eliza Stanhope.² He married Christine Wardrop, daughter of James Wardrop, on 4 July 1840.¹ He died on 27 January 1877 at age 63, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Major-General.¹

     James Wardrop graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Christine Wardrop is the daughter of James Wardrop.² She married Maj.-Gen. Arthur Shirley, son of Evelyn John Shirley and Eliza Stanhope, on 4 July 1840.¹
     From 4 July 1840, her married name became Shirley.

     Walter Devereux Shirley was born on 20 July 1829.¹ He was the son of Evelyn John Shirley and Eliza Stanhope.² He married Hannah Knox Faucette, daughter of William Knox Faucette, on 26 July 1856.¹ He died on 23 April 1908 at age 78.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Monaghan Militia.¹

     Hannah Knox Faucette was the daughter of William Knox Faucette.² She married Walter Devereux Shirley, son of Evelyn John Shirley and Eliza Stanhope, on 26 July 1856.¹ She died on 5 April 1913.¹
     From 26 July 1856, her married name became Shirley.
