     Reverend Philip Gurdon was born on 20 June 1800.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Theophilus Thornhagh Gurdon and Anne Mellish.2 He married Henrietta Laura Pulteney, daughter of John Pulteney, on 3 July 1832.1 He died on 1 August 1874 at age 74.1
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was the Rector at Southburgh, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector at Reymerston, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector at Cranworth-cum-Letton, Norfolk, EnglandG.1

Theophilus Thornhagh Gurdon and Anne Mellish.2 He married, firstly, Mary Wilhelmina Frederica Frere, daughter of William Frere and Mary Dillingham, on 20 October 1846.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Mary Jane Temple Frere, daughter of Reverend Temple Frere, on 23 September 1853.1 He died on 31 July 1873 at age 61.1
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was the Rector at Barnham Brrom, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector at Kimberley, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector at Hingham, Norfolk, EnglandG.1
