     Frances Katharine Bowlby was born on 19 October 1855.1 She was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Henry Bond Bowlby and Catherine Salmon.1 She was baptised on 21 November 1855 at Oldbury, Worcestershire, England.2 She married Colonel Edwin Edward Bruton Bond, son of Henry M. Bond and Emilia Lavinia Lund, on 10 October 1878 at St. Philips Church, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1,2 She died on 9 January 1897 at age 41.1
     From 10 October 1878, her married name became Bond.1

     Colonel Edwin Edward Bruton Bond was born on 20 October 1835 at Meerut, India.2 He was the son of Henry M. Bond and Emilia Lavinia Lund.2 He married, firstly, Julia Henrietta Trevelyan, daughter of John Trevelyan and Jane Caroline Astley, on 1 March 1863 at Bengal, India.2 He married, secondly, Frances Katharine Bowlby, daughter of Rt. Rev. Henry Bond Bowlby and Catherine Salmon, on 10 October 1878 at St. Philips Church, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1,2 He was also reported to have been married on 8 August 1863.3 He died on 27 January 1892 at age 56 at Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England.1,2
     He was with the Indian Civil Service.1 He was Chief Constable of Cardiff in May 1873.2 He was Chief of Police between July 1876 and December 1881 at Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Bengal Staff Corps.4
