     Catherine Tireman is the daughter of Rev. Prebendary unknown Tireman.¹ She married John Carnegie, son of Sir James Carnegie of Pittarrow, 3rd Bt. and Christian Doig, in October 1791.¹
     From October 1791, her married name became Carnegie.¹

     Rev. Prebendary unknown Tireman held the office of Sub-Dean of Chichester.¹

     Reverend James Carnegie was the son of John Carnegie and Catherine Tireman.¹ He died on 8 February 1864, without issue.¹

     George Carnegie was born on 2 January 1759.¹ He was the son of Sir James Carnegie of Pittarrow, 3rd Bt. and Christian Doig.¹ He died on 19 May 1786 at age 27, unmarried.¹

     Elizabeth Susan Grey was the daughter of Colonel John Grey.¹ She married John Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie, son of Sir David Carnegie, 4th Bt. and Agnes Murray Elliot, on 7 September 1848.¹ She died on 15 June 1878.¹
     From 7 September 1848, her married name became Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie.¹

     Colonel John Grey lived at Backworth, Northumberland, England^G.¹

     Claud Cathcart Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie was born on 9 December 1849.¹ He was the son of John Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie and Elizabeth Susan Grey.¹ He married Mary Madeline Breakenridge, daughter of William Breakenridge, on 16 April 1874.¹ He died on 19 August 1930 at age 80.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 5th Brigade, Scottish Division, Royal Artillery.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Forfarshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹ He lived at Tarrie, Angus, Scotland^G.¹

     Mary Madeline Breakenridge was the daughter of William Breakenridge.¹ She married Claud Cathcart Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie, son of John Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie and Elizabeth Susan Grey, on 16 April 1874.¹ She died on 20 October 1936.¹
     From 16 April 1874, her married name became Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie.¹
