     Thomas fitz John, 13th Knight of Glin was the son of Reverend John fitz Thomas, 12th Knight of Glin.2 He died after 1572.1
     He was also known as Thomas fitz John Ruddery.1 He possessed about 8 castles in the Baronies of Lower Connelo and Shanid (including Glin.)1 Thomas fitz John, 13th Knight of Glin also went by the nick-name of 'Knight of the Valley'.3 He succeeded as the 13th Knight of Glin after 1541.2 On 13 February 1569 he was attainted by Act of Parliament held at Dublin after the execution of his elder son, Thomas, and his lands were forfeited.1 Before 1572 many of his lands and castles were restored to him.1

     Major Gervase Leslie Falkiner was born on 24 February 1909.1 He was the son of Sir Leslie Edmund Percy Riggs Falkiner, 7th Bt. and Kathleen Mary Orde-Powlett.2 He married Rosemary Florence Emily Smith, daughter of Herbert George Smith and Florence Musgrave Read, on 28 July 1934 at St. Mary's Cathedral, Wrexham, Denbighshire, Wales.1,3 He died on 5 December 1988 at age 79.1
     He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.1
