     Reverend John Lloyd Crawley was born in 1884 at New Southgate, London, England.1,2 He was the son of Thomas William Crawley and Emily Rochfort.3 He married Marion McKerrow, daughter of Charles McKerrow, on 18 October 1921.1 He died on 30 September 1951.1
     He graduated from Selwyn College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Senior Chaplian to the Forces.1 He was the Rector between 1945 and 1948 at Harrington, Cumberland, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector between 1948 and 1951 at Kirkandrews on EdenG.1
