Nancy Margaret Hood is the daughter of Colonel Edward Thesiger Frankland Hood.2 She married John Cecil Noel, son of Gerard Cecil Noel and Madeline Edith Clifton, on 9 July 1936.1
She lived Nettleham Hall.1 She was Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 Her married name became Noel. She was Lincolnshire (see BLG ) in 1921.1 In 1942 and was killed on active service.1

Gerard James Noel and Lady Augusta Mary Lowther.2 He married, firstly, Frances Mary Cockerell, daughter of Frederick Pepys Cockerell, on 2 April 1902.1 He and Frances Mary Cockerell were divorced in 1926.1 He married, secondly, Janet Muriel Baird, daughter of William Baird and Caroline Muriel Burn-Callander, on 7 August 1926.1 He died on 28 August 1931 at age 63.1
