     Alexander Gordon, 5th Viscount Kenmure was the son of unknown Gordon.2 He married Lady Grizel Stewart, daughter of James Stewart, 2nd Earl of Galloway and Nicola Grierson.1 He married, secondly, Marian (?), daughter of Maculloch (?).3 He died on 20 April 1698.1
     He gained the title of 5th Viscount Kenmure.

     Alexander Stewart, 4th Earl of Galloway was born on 8 January 1669/70.1 He was the son of Alexander Stewart, 3rd Earl of Galloway and Lady Mary Douglas.1 He died on 26 September 1690 at age 20.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Stewart, of Corsewell [N.S., 1627] in September 1690.1 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Galloway [S., 1623] in September 1690.1 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Garlies [S., 1607] in September 1690.1

     Lady Henrietta Stewart was born in 1682.2 She was the daughter of Alexander Stewart, 3rd Earl of Galloway and Lady Mary Douglas.1 She married William Cuninghame, 12th Earl of Glencairn, son of John Cuninghame, 11th Earl of Glencairn and Lady Jean Erskine, on 20 November 1704.3 She died in 1763.2
     From 20 November 1704, her married name became Cuninghame.
