     From 6 October 1936, her married name became Dyer.

Sir Leonard Schroeder Swinnerton Dyer, 15th Bt.1

     Sir Leonard Schroeder Swinnerton Dyer, 15th Bt. was born on 30 March 1898.1 He was the son of Sir Leonard Whitworth Swinnerton Dyer, 14th Bt. and Lucy Schroeder.2 He married Barbara Brackenbury, daughter of Hereward Brackenbury, on 16 June 1925.1 He died on 10 June 1975 at age 77.1
     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1916 in the Royal Field Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He succeeded as the 15th Baronet Dyer, of Tottenham, co. Middlesex [E., 1678] on 19 August 1947.1 He was president of the British Chess Federation between 1956 and 1958.1 He held the office of Chairman of the Shropshire County Council between 1969 and 1975.1
