     Sir Thomas Randolph Houstoun-Boswall of Blackadder, 5th Bt. was born on 5 February 1882.1 He was the son of Sir George Lauderdale Houstoun-Boswall of Blackadder, 3rd Bt. and Phoebe Allan.2 He married Edith Mary Salter, daughter of Jarvis Salter, on 8 February 1912.1 He died on 4 December 1953 at age 71.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 14th Service Battalion, Royal Scots, formerly 3rd Battalion.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Houstoun, of Calderhall [U.K., 1836] on 27 September 1915.1

     Edith Mary Salter was the daughter of Jarvis Salter.2 She married Sir Thomas Randolph Houstoun-Boswall of Blackadder, 5th Bt., son of Sir George Lauderdale Houstoun-Boswall of Blackadder, 3rd Bt. and Phoebe Allan, on 8 February 1912.1 She died on 30 September 1962.1
     From 8 February 1912, her married name became Houstoun-Boswall.1

     Lieutenant George Cleeton Houstoun-Boswall was born on 1 September 1920.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Randolph Houstoun-Boswall of Blackadder, 5th Bt. and Edith Mary Salter.2 He died on 11 December 1941 at age 21 at Hong KongG, killed on active service.1
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Scots.1

     Pamela Nanine Houstoun-Boswall was born on 6 June 1916.1 She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Randolph Houstoun-Boswall of Blackadder, 5th Bt. and Edith Mary Salter.2 She married William Oliver Calvert, son of Captain Albert James Calvert, on 30 April 1938.1 She died on 27 March 2008 at age 91 at Winston-Salem, North Carolina, U.S.A.G.3
     From 30 April 1938, her married name became Calvert.
