     Bertram De Vic Carey Curtis was born on 11 July 1873.1 He was the son of Spencer Henry Curtis and Margaret Tupper Carey.2 He married Edith Maude Chapman, daughter of Frederick Chapman, on 25 September 1902.1 He died on 8 January 1904 at age 30, without issue.1

     Henry Downing Curtis was born on 2 December 1836.1 He was the son of Charles Berwick Curtis and Henrietta Pearson.2 He married Ada Harriett Heath, daughter of R. Amadeus Baron Heath, on 20 October 1874.1 He died on 13 September 1914 at age 77.1

Vice-Admiral Berwick Curtis1

     Vice-Admiral Berwick Curtis was born on 9 October 1876.1 He was the son of Henry Downing Curtis and Ada Harriett Heath.2 He married, firstly, Mildred Henrietta Curtis, daughter of Frank John Constable Curtis, on 24 July 1907.1 He married, secondly, Violet Penelope Munro Thompson, daughter of J. B. Thompson, on 21 March 1929.1 He died on 9 May 1965 at age 88.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Order of St. Stanislaus of Russia 2nd Class with swords.1 He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917 and bar.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1919.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1920.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V in 1927.1 He was Rear-Admiral in Chanrge and Superintendent of the Gibraltar between 1929 and 1931.1 He retired from the military in 1932, with the rank of Vice-Admiral.1 He fought in the Second World War, as Commodore of Convoys.1
