     Evelyn Renée Venetia Curtis was born on 1 April 1879.1 She was the daughter of Philip Julian Curtis and Margaret Helena Marie Candy.2 She died on 5 February 1904 at age 24, unmarried.1

     John Egerton Curtis was born on 6 December 1844.1 He was the son of Sir William Curtis, 3rd Bt. and Georgina Maria Stratton.2 He married Mary Ella Wallace, daughter of Marshall Wallace, on 21 November 1871.1 He died on 19 April 1879 at age 34.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 45th Foot.1

     Mary Ella Wallace was the daughter of Marshall Wallace.2 She married John Egerton Curtis, son of Sir William Curtis, 3rd Bt. and Georgina Maria Stratton, on 21 November 1871.1 She died in 1897.1
     From 21 November 1871, her married name became Curtis.

Major Sir Edgar Francis Egerton Curtis, 5th Bt.1

     Major Sir Edgar Francis Egerton Curtis, 5th Bt. was born on 18 December 1875.1 He was the son of John Egerton Curtis and Mary Ella Wallace.2 He married, firstly, Madeline Cairns Alexander, daughter of C. W. Alexander, in 1903.1 He married, secondly, Ethel Barlow, daughter of Charles Edward Barlow, on 4 July 1942.1 He died on 9 August 1943 at age 67.1
     Major Sir Edgar Francis Egerton Curtis, 5th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Francis.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1900, with Strathcona's Horse.1 He fought in the First World War between 1916 and 1917, in Egypt and Palestine.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Curtis, of Cullands Grove, Middlesex [U.K., 1802] on 19 December 1916.1 He was Military Governor of Hebron in 1917.1
