     He gained the rank of Captain in the 36th Regiment.1

     Sir Henry Cracroft Trollope, 12th Bt. was born on 5 June 1860.1 He was the son of Arthur Trollope and Elizabeth Lucas.2 He married, firstly, Louisa Jane Bawden, daughter of C. C. Bawden, in 1891.1 He married Evelyn Elizabeth Cesari, daughter of Edward Francis Felix Cesari, on 26 June 1926.1 He died on 29 May 1935 at age 74, without issue.1
     He was registered as a Associate Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (A.M.I.C.E.)1 He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Trollope, of Casewick, co. Lincoln [E., 1642] on 23 September 1927.1
