     Captain George Newdegate Alison was born on 28 November 1889.1 He was the son of Sir Archibald Alison, 3rd Bt. and Georgina Sarah Ann Bond-Cabbell.1 He died on 1 July 1916 at age 26, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Seaforth Highlanders.1

Sir Archibald Alison, 3rd Bt.1

     Sir Archibald Alison, 3rd Bt. was born on 20 May 1862.1 He was the son of General Sir Archibald Alison, 2nd Bt. and Jane Black.1 He married Georgina Sarah Ann Bond-Cabbell, daughter of John Bond-Cabbell and Margaret Dewar, on 26 January 1888.1 He died on 7 November 1921 at age 59.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, Rifle Brigade.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Battalion, Rifle Brigade.1 He held the office of Colonial Secretary [Bermuda] between 1888 and 1900.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Alison, of Possil House, co. Devon [U.K., 1852] on 5 February 1907.1
