     Mary Hilda Hewett was born on 15 September 1888.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Harald George Hewett, 4th Bt. and Emma Pope.² She died on 19 March 1947 at age 58, unmarried.¹

     Muriel Emma Hulda Hewett was born on 13 October 1889 at Stokenham, Devon, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of Sir Harald George Hewett, 4th Bt. and Emma Pope.³ She died on 19 December 1920 at age 31, unmarried.¹

     Sir Bryan Baldwyn Mawdddwy Leighton, 9th Bt. was born on 26 November 1868.¹ He was the son of Sir Baldwyn Leighton, 8th Bt. and Hon. Eleanor Leicester Leighton-Warren.¹ He married Margaret Frances Fletcher, daughter of Major John Fletcher, on 3 December 1890.¹ He died on 19 January 1919 at age 50.¹
     He fought in the Bechuanaland Landberg Campaign in 1897.¹ He fought in the Spanish-American War in 1898.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was a war correspondent durint the Russo-Japanese War in 1904.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire.¹ He was with Turkish Forces during the Balkan War
in 1913.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Territorial Forces Reserve.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Leighton, of Wattlesborough, Shropshire [E., 1693] on 10 August 1914.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Flying Corps.¹ He was commander of the Westmorland and Cumberland Yeomanry.¹

     Commander Henry Studdy gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Eleanor Margaret Studdy was the daughter of Commander Henry Studdy.² She married Sir Harald George Hewett, 4th Bt., son of Sir George John Routledge Hewett, 3rd Bt. and Clara von Pochhammer, on 30 January 1892.¹ She died on 2 April 1946.¹
     From 30 January 1892, her married name became Hewett.¹

     Margaret Frances Fletcher was the daughter of Major John Fletcher.¹ She married Sir Bryan Baldwyn Mawdddwy Leighton, 9th Bt., son of Sir Baldwyn Leighton, 8th Bt. and Hon. Eleanor Leicester Leighton-Warren, on 3 December 1890.¹ She died on 26 June 1944.¹
     From 3 December 1890, her married name became Leighton.¹

     Major John Fletcher lived at Saltoun Hall, Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Captain Harald Hewett was born on 22 October 1892.¹ He was the son of Sir Harald George Hewett, 4th Bt. and Eleanor Margaret Studdy.² He died on 4 January 1918 at age 25, killed on active service.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Berkshire Regiment.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Flying Corps.¹

     Sir John George Hewett, 5th Bt. was born on 23 October 1895.¹ He was the son of Sir Harald George Hewett, 4th Bt. and Eleanor Margaret Studdy.² He married Yuilleen Maude Smithson, daughter of Samuel Frederick Smithson, on 22 December 1926.¹ He died in 1990.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th King's African Rifles.¹ He gained the rank of Trooper in 1914 in the Bowker's Horse.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1915, in Briitsh East Africa.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1919.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hewett, of Nether Seale, co. Leicester [U.K., 1813] on 5 March 1949.²

     George Nele Hewett was born in 1901.¹ He was the son of Sir Harald George Hewett, 4th Bt. and Eleanor Margaret Studdy.² He married Margaret Skaife de Vitré, daughter of G. T. Denis de Vitré, on 7 November 1931.¹ He died in 1972.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Institution of Electrical Engineers (F.I.E.E.)¹
