     Sir Bryan Baldwyn Mawdddwy Leighton, 9th Bt. was born on 26 November 1868.1 He was the son of Sir Baldwyn Leighton, 8th Bt. and Hon. Eleanor Leicester Leighton-Warren.1 He married Margaret Frances Fletcher, daughter of Major John Fletcher, on 3 December 1890.1 He died on 19 January 1919 at age 50.1
     He fought in the Bechuanaland Landberg Campaign in 1897.1 He fought in the Spanish-American War in 1898.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was a war correspondent durint the Russo-Japanese War in 1904.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire.1 He was with Turkish Forces during the Balkan War
in 1913.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Territorial Forces Reserve.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Leighton, of Wattlesborough, Shropshire [E., 1693] on 10 August 1914.1 He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Flying Corps.1 He was commander of the Westmorland and Cumberland Yeomanry.1

     Eleanor Margaret Studdy was the daughter of Commander Henry Studdy.2 She married Sir Harald George Hewett, 4th Bt., son of Sir George John Routledge Hewett, 3rd Bt. and Clara von Pochhammer, on 30 January 1892.1 She died on 2 April 1946.1
     From 30 January 1892, her married name became Hewett.1

     Margaret Frances Fletcher was the daughter of Major John Fletcher.1 She married Sir Bryan Baldwyn Mawdddwy Leighton, 9th Bt., son of Sir Baldwyn Leighton, 8th Bt. and Hon. Eleanor Leicester Leighton-Warren, on 3 December 1890.1 She died on 26 June 1944.1
     From 3 December 1890, her married name became Leighton.1

     Sir John George Hewett, 5th Bt. was born on 23 October 1895.1 He was the son of Sir Harald George Hewett, 4th Bt. and Eleanor Margaret Studdy.2 He married Yuilleen Maude Smithson, daughter of Samuel Frederick Smithson, on 22 December 1926.1 He died in 1990.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th King's African Rifles.1 He gained the rank of Trooper in 1914 in the Bowker's Horse.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1915, in Briitsh East Africa.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1919.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hewett, of Nether Seale, co. Leicester [U.K., 1813] on 5 March 1949.2

     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.1 He was appointed Fellow, Institution of Electrical Engineers (F.I.E.E.)1
