     Sir Hugh Acland, 2nd/6th Bt. was baptised on 26 January 1696/97.1 He was born circa January 1696/97. He was the son of John Acland and Elizabeth Acland.3 He and Cicely Wroth obtained a marriage license on 9 May 1721.1 He died on 29 July 1728 at age 31.1 He was buried on 3 August 1728.4 His will was proven (by probate) in 1728.4
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Acland, of Columb-John, Devon [E., 1644] in March 1714.5 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Acland, of Columb-John, Devon [E., 1678] in March 1713/14.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Barnstaple between 1721 and 1727.1

     Cicely Wroth is the daughter of Sir Thomas Wroth, 3rd Bt. and Mary Osbaldeston.1,2 She and Sir Hugh Acland, 2nd/6th Bt. obtained a marriage license on 9 May 1721.1 She married, secondly, Reverend Thomas Troyte on 13 August 1729 at Broad Clyst, Devon, England.1,2
     From circa 9 May 1721, her married name became Acland. From 13 August 1729, her married name became Troyte.

     Sir Thomas Wroth, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1674.1 He was the son of Sir John Wroth, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Palmer.1 He married Mary Osbaldeston, daughter of Francis Osbaldeston and Cecilia Morley, on 16 April 1693.1 He died on 27 June 1721 at Kellerton, Devon, England.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Wroth, of Blenden Hall [E., 1660] circa 1677.2 He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bridgwater between 1701 and 1708.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Somerset between 1710 and 1713.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wells between 1713 and 1715.1
