     Captain John William Huyshe Bennett is the son of Major William Pyt Bennett.2 He married Dinah Nugent, daughter of Sir George Guy Bulwer Nugent, 4th Bt. and May Esther Bigsby, on 17 June 1950.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1

     Emily Elizabeth Smith was the daughter of James Smith.1 She married Sir Alfred Edward Pease, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Joseph Whitwell Pease, 1st Bt. and Mary Fox, on 1 August 1922.1 She died in 1979.1
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.1 She was adopted by James Smith.1 From 1 August 1922, her married name became Pease.1
