     Cecil Julian Tyndale-Biscoe was born on 14 October 1895.1 He was the son of Rev. Canon Cecil Earle Tyndale-Biscoe and Blanche Violet Burges.1 He married Yvonne Regan on 26 July 1923.1
     He was educated at Glenalmond College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, ScotlandG.1 He was educated at Trent College, Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, with the Royal Field Artillery.1 He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.1 He was Director of African Education for Northern Rhodesia in 1936.1 He was Assistant Advisor on Education for the Colonies in 1944.1 He was Director of Education for Tanganyika between 1945 and 1948.1 He lived in 1952 at 69 Marlborough, Harare, ZimbabweG.1
