Sir John Drummond-Hay1

     Sir John Drummond-Hay was born on 1 June 1816.2 He was the son of Edward William Auriol Drummond-Hay and Louisa Margaret Thomson.2 He married Annette Adelaide Christina Carstensen, daughter of J. A. Carstensen, on 7 October 1845.2 He died on 27 November 1893 at age 77.2
     He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was Consul-General to Morocco in 1845.2 He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipoentiary to Morocco between 1880 and 1886.2

Louisa Annette Edia Drummond-Hay1

     Louisa Annette Edia Drummond-Hay was the daughter of Sir John Drummond-Hay and Annette Adelaide Christina Carstensen.2 She married John Brooks, son of John Brooks and Mary Orrell, on 8 January 1874.2 She died on 30 June 1902.2
     From 8 January 1874, her married name became Brooks.

     Mary Brooks was born on 1 November 1847.1 She was the daughter of John Brooks and Mary Orrell.2 She married Samuel Taylor Mendel on 31 August 1870.1 She died on 14 June 1881 at age 33.1
