     David Gordon Allen d'Aldecamb Lumsden of Cushnie was born on 25 May 1933 at Quetta, Baluchistan, PakistanG.2,3 He was the son of Major Henry Gordon Strange Lumsden and Sydney Mary Elliott.2 He died on 29 August 2008 at age 75.3
     He was educated at Allhallows School, Devon, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Bedford School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 1 March 1972.2 He was awarded the Knight of Justice, Constantinian Order of St. George in 1978.2 He was awarded the Knight of Honour and Devotion, Sovereign Military Order of Malta in 1980.2 He contributed to the book The Muster Roll of Prince Charles Edward's Army, published 1984.2 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries Scotland (F.S.A.Scot.) in 1984.2 He held the office of Garioch Pursuivant of Arms in 1986.2 He was awarded the Knight, Order of St. Maurice and St. Lazarus in 1998.2 He lived in 2003 at Hamilton House, West Loan, Prestonpans, East Lothian, ScotlandG.2

     Kenneth Ian Hugh Lumsden of Banchory was born on 3 June 1935.1 He is the son of Major Henry Gordon Strange Lumsden and Sydney Mary Elliott.2 He married Suzan Angela Sellon, daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Dundas Sellon, on 25 July 1964.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Gordon Highlanders.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 17 September 1979.1 He lived in 2003 at Marlee, Blairgowrie, Perthshire, ScotlandG.1
