     Mary Anne Ward was the daughter of Reverend Bernard John Ward.2 She married Reverend Edmond Francis Knox, son of Hon. Vesey Knox and Catherine Anne Gisborne, in April 1831.1 She died on 31 March 1883.1
     From April 1831, her married name became Knox.

     Vesey Edmund Knox was born on 24 January 1841.1 He was the son of Reverend Edmond Francis Knox and Mary Anne Ward.2 He married Margaret Clarissa Garrett, daughter of Reverend James Perkins Garrett and Caroline Anne Elisabeth Moore, on 1 October 1862.1 He died on 3 April 1879 at age 38.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 52nd Foot.1 He lived at Shimnah, Newcastle, County Down, IrelandG.1

     Reverend James Perkins Garrett was born on 10 October 1810.2 He married Caroline Anne Elisabeth Moore, daughter of Colonel Hugh Moore and Priscilla Cecilia Armitage.2 He died on 18 October 1869 at age 59.2
     He lived at Kilgarron, County Carlow, IrelandG.1

     Margaret Clarissa Garrett was born circa 1838.2 She was the daughter of Reverend James Perkins Garrett and Caroline Anne Elisabeth Moore.3,2 She married Vesey Edmund Knox, son of Reverend Edmond Francis Knox and Mary Anne Ward, on 1 October 1862.1 She died on 4 April 1915.1
     From 1 October 1862, her married name became Knox.

John Vesey Knox1

     John Vesey Knox was born on 17 October 1892.1 He was the son of Edmund Francis Vesey Knox and Annie Elizabeth Lloyd.2 He died on 4 January 1918 at age 25, from injuries received in a flying accident.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the London Irish Rifles.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Flying Corps.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Northamptonshire Regiment.1

     Columb Thomas Knox was born on 13 March 1897.1 He was the son of Edmund Francis Vesey Knox and Annie Elizabeth Lloyd.2 He married Gwendoline Frances Mary Mitchell, daughter of E. Davidson Mitchell, on 27 April 1944.1 He and Gwendoline Frances Mary Mitchell were divorced in 1948.1 He died on 3 May 1977 at age 80, without issue.1
