     He fought in the North-West Frontier between 1897 and 1898.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1900.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1

Robert Ferguson Knox and Edith Mary Humphreys.3 He married Nell Barbara Jones, daughter of Thomes Hope Jones and Harriette Locke, on 4 June 1929.1 He died on 13 September 1990 at age 92 at Ingles Court Hotel, Folkestone, Kent, England.2
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War between 1916 and 1918.1 He fought in the North-West Frontier in 1919.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1 He fought in the Iraq Campaign in 1920.1 He fought in the Waziristan Cmapaign in 1937.1
