     Captain Clifton Charles Orby Gascoigne was born on 7 March 1870.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Clifton Gascoigne and Frances Charlotte Wombwell.2 He married Sybil Mary Clive, daughter of General Edward Henry Clive and Isabel Webb, on 23 July 1896.1 He died on 30 June 1940 at age 70.1
     He lived at Henley Hall, Ipswich, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Seaforth Highlanders.1

Clifton Gascoigne and Frances Charlotte Wombwell, on 12 November 1902.1 She died on 1 March 1954 at age 78.1
     From 12 November 1902, her married name became Gascoigne.1

     Lt.-Col. Clifton Gascoigne was born on 3 November 1835.1 He was the son of General Ernest Frederick Gascoigne and Caroline Leigh Smith.1 He married Frances Charlotte Wombwell, daughter of Charles Orby Wombwell and Charlotte Catherine Hunter, on 20 September 1863.1 He was also reported to have been married on 20 September 1864.2 He died on 27 September 1903 at age 67.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.3

     Frances Charlotte Wombwell was the daughter of Charles Orby Wombwell and Charlotte Catherine Hunter.1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Clifton Gascoigne, son of General Ernest Frederick Gascoigne and Caroline Leigh Smith, on 20 September 1863.1 She was also reported to have been married on 20 September 1864.3 She died on 6 March 1920.3
     From 20 September 1863, her married name became Gascoigne.1

Charles Orby Wombwell1

     Charles Orby Wombwell was born on 3 April 1813.2 He is the son of Sir George Wombwell, 2nd Bt. and Eliza Little.3 He married, firstly, Charlotte Catherine Hunter, daughter of Thomas Orby Hunter and Frances Heywood, on 21 May 1836.2 He married, secondly, Frances Jane Baillie, daughter of David Baillie, on 7 September 1865.2 He died on 14 September 1898 at age 85.3
     He gained the rank of Officer in the 10th Hussars.2
