     Richard John Caswell Maunsell was born on 2 May 1878.2 He was the son of Richard Mary Synnot Maunsell and Mary Eliza Caswell.2 He married Mary Winifred Orpen, daughter of Richard Hugh Millerd Orpen, on 24 September 1913.2 He died on 27 September 1955 at age 77.2
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th (S) Battalion, Inniskilling Fusiliers.2 In 1905 Barrister-atlaw (Ireland.)2 He gained the rank of Captain between 1914 and 1919 in the General Staff.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1917.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Kildare.2 He lived in 1924 at Oakley Park, County Kildare, IrelandG.1 He sold Oakley Park in 1924.2 He lived at Blackwater, County Clare, IrelandG.2

     Dr. Richard Townsend was born on 12 January 1736/37.2 He was the son of Captain Philip Townsend and Elizabeth Hungerford.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Townsend, daughter of Horatio Townsend and Anne Richards.1 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Norris.1 He married, firstly, Eleanor Sealy, daughter of John Sealy, in 1762.2 He died in 1817.2
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)2 He lived at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 He also had two sons by his first wife, who both died in infancy.2
