Sir Edwin Frederick Wodehouse1

     Sir Edwin Frederick Wodehouse was born on 20 February 1851.1 He was the son of Colonel Edwin Wodehouse and Catherine Street.2 He married Margaret à Court Repington, daughter of Charles Henry Wyndham à Court Repington and Emily Currie, on 21 June 1881.1 He died on 1 April 1934 at age 83.1
     Sir Edwin Frederick Wodehouse usually went by his middle name of Frederick.2 He gained the rank of Major between 1870 and 1890 in the Royal Artillery.1 He was Assistant Commissioner of the City of London Police between 1890 and 1902.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)1 He was Assistant Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police between 1902 and 1918.2
