     Sir John Potts, 1st Bt. was born circa 1592.2 He was the son of John Potts and Anne Dodge.1,2 He married, firstly, Anne Mebwoke on 18 July 1608.2 He married, secondly, Ursula Willoughby, daughter of Sir John Willoughby, circa 1617.2 He died in 1673.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Norfolk in 1640.2 He was appointed Knight on 9 August 1641.2 He was created 1st Baronet Potts, of Mannington [England] on 14 August 1641.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Great Yarmouth in 1660.2 He held the office of Councillor of State between 25 February 1660 and 29 May 1660.2

     George Oxenden was born in 1651.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Oxenden, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Meredith.1 He married Elizabeth Dixwell, daughter of Sir Basil Dixwell, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Peyton.1 He died on 21 February 1702.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)1 He was a Master at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1

     He was created 1st Baronet Dixwell [England] in 1660.
