     Major Charles Robert Thropp Thorp married Joan de Hoghton, daughter of Sir James de Hoghton, 11th Bt. and Aimee Jean Grove, on 12 July 1921.1 He died on 14 January 1935.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1

     Barbara de Hoghton was born on 2 May 1894.1 She was the daughter of Sir James de Hoghton, 11th Bt. and Aimee Jean Grove.2 She married, firstly, Robert Myles Heywood, son of Robert Heywood, on 8 December 1914.1 She married, secondly, Richard Leveson Vernon, son of Walter Bertie William Vernon and Esther Hodgson Mills, on 4 October 1926.2
     From 8 December 1914, her married name became Heywood. From 4 October 1926, her married name became Vernon.2

     Robert Myles Heywood was the son of Robert Heywood.2 He married Barbara de Hoghton, daughter of Sir James de Hoghton, 11th Bt. and Aimee Jean Grove, on 8 December 1914.1 He died on 15 February 1915, from wounds recd in action.1
     He was 2nd Lieutenant 3rd Battalion E Kent Regiment.1 Only.1 He lived Hales Hall.1 He was Staffordshire.1

     Helen Macdonald was the daughter of Major Duncan Macdonald.2 She married Sir Cuthbert de Hoghton, 12th Bt., son of Sir James de Hoghton, 11th Bt. and Aimee Jean Grove, on 12 February 1917.1 She died on 15 October 1943.1
     From 12 February 1917, her married name became de Hoghton.

     Sir Henry Philip Anthony Mary de Hoghton, 13th Bt. was born on 19 April 1919.1 He was the son of Sir Cuthbert de Hoghton, 12th Bt. and Helen Macdonald.2 He died on 20 February 1978 at age 58, unmarried.1
     He was also known as Anthony.1 He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was Coroner for the Manor of Walton-le-Dale.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Hoghton, of Hoghton Tower, and Walton le Dale, co. Lancaster [E., 1611] on 5 December 1958.2

     Charles James Gilbert de Hoghton was born on 5 July 1930.1 He was the son of Sir Cuthbert de Hoghton, 12th Bt. and Helen Macdonald.2 He married Valerie Maud Thomas, daughter of William Richard Glynn Thomas, on 27 September 1957.1 He died on 25 September 1971 at age 41.1
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1
