     Lt.-Col. Daniel Michael O'Donoghue was born in 1771.1 He was the son of Patrick O'Donoghue and Mary McCartie.2 He married Elizabeth Edkins on 28 August 1799.1 He died on 2 August 1858.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the British Army.1

     Frances Julia Eyton was baptised on 29 July 1841 at Wrockwardine, Shropshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Campbell Eyton and Elizabeth Frances Slaney.3,4 She married Reverend Frederick Freeman O'Donoghue, son of Lt.-Col. Daniel Michael O'Donoghue and Elizabeth Edkins, on 3 April 1866.1 She died in 1887.1
     From 3 April 1866, her married name became O'Donoghue.
