     Edward Carr was the son of Reverend Edward Carr and Sarah Forster.2 He married Maria Kough, daughter of Samuel Kough, on 20 October 1808.2 He died on 14 May 1857.2
     He lived at Arnestown, County Wexford, IrelandG.1

     Elizabeth Carr was the daughter of Edward Carr and Maria Kough.2,3 She married Reverend Thomas Uniacke Townsend, son of Thomas Townsend and Martha Uniacke, in 1839.1 She died in 1876.1
     From 1839, her married name became Townsend.

     Richard Hungerford Townsend was the son of Reverend Thomas Uniacke Townsend and Elizabeth Carr.2 He married Arabella Jane Denny, daughter of Reverend Henry Denny and Sophia Catherine McGillycuddy, on 16 February 1874.1 He died in 1922.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He lived at Ardeevin, Queenstown, County Cork, IrelandG.1

     Thomas Henry Denny Townsend was born on 13 April 1876.1 He was the son of Richard Hungerford Townsend and Arabella Jane Denny.2 He married Ethel Mary Studdert, daughter of Major George Studdert and Agnes Waller, on 4 April 1907.1 He was also reported to have been married on 14 April 1907.2 He died on 21 October 1952 at age 76.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was an ophthalmic surgeon.1 He lived at Merton, Cobh, County Cork, IrelandG.1

     Maurice Christopher Maude was born on 18 November 1925.2 He was the son of Christopher Hugh Maude and Mary Elizabeth Christiana Macmanaway.2 He married, firstly, Venetia Doyle, daughter of William Patterson Doyle, on 20 April 1954.1 He and Venetia Doyle were divorced in 1963.2 He married, secondly, Susan Frances Lepper, daughter of George Lepper, in 1967.2 He died on 30 October 1997 at age 71.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the King's Royal Rifle Corps (Territorial Army.)2

     Richard Uniacke Denny Townsend was born on 6 August 1914.1 He was the son of Thomas Henry Denny Townsend and Ethel Mary Studdert.2 He married Ursula Yvonne Oakes, daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Henry Edmund Oakes and Yvonne Emily Shoppee, on 23 March 1943.1 He died on 4 September 1999 at age 85.3
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1936 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was with the British Council in Poland between 1938 and 1939.1 He fought in the Second World War, with the Merchant Service and Intelligence Corps.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1945.1 He was a Master between 1946 and 1964 at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He was Head of the Modern Languages Department between 1964 and 1974 at Portree High School, Portree, Isle of Skye, ScotlandG.1 He lived in 1976 at Glamaig Cottage, Braes, Portree, Isle of Skye, ScotlandG.1
