     Reverend Horatio Townsend was the son of Reverend Horatio Townsend and Katherine Corker.2 He married, secondly, Jane Florence MacCartie, daughter of Justin MacCartie.1 He married, firstly, Anne Kenney, daughter of Reverend Edward Kenney, on 3 June 1829.1 He died on 19 December 1837.1
     He was the Rector at Carrigaline, County Cork, IrelandG.1

     Anne Kenney was the daughter of Reverend Edward Kenney.2 She married Reverend Horatio Townsend, son of Reverend Horatio Townsend and Katherine Corker, on 3 June 1829.1 She died on 2 April 1830, without issue.1
     From 3 June 1929, her married name became Townsend.

Captain Horace Townsend1

     Captain Horace Townsend was born on 1 April 1837.2 He was the son of Reverend Horatio Townsend and Jane Florence MacCartie.3 He married, firstly, Jane McCarthy.1 He married, secondly, Joanna Townsend Poole, daughter of Major Hewitt Poole, on 17 April 1879.3 He died on 15 June 1904 at age 67.2 He was buried at Lislee Churchyard, Courtmacsherry, County Cork, Ireland.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 99th Regiment.1

     Major Hewitt Poole was born on 5 January 1812.2 He was the son of Thomas Poole and Joanna Meade Townsend.2 He died on 24 May 1903 at age 91.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Mayfield, County Cork, IrelandG.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Munster Fusiliers.1

     Joanna Townsend Poole was born on 5 July 1838.2 She was the daughter of Major Hewitt Poole.3 She married Captain Horace Townsend, son of Reverend Horatio Townsend and Jane Florence MacCartie, on 17 April 1879.1 She died on 23 April 1910 at age 71, without issue.1 She was buried at Lislee Churchyard, Courtmacsherry, County Cork, IrelandG.4
     From 17 April 1879, her married name became Townsend.1

     Richard William Townsend was the son of Reverend Horatio Townsend and Katherine Corker.2 He married Laura Hebbert, daughter of Henry Hebbert, in August 1850.1 He died in 1855.1
     He was a civil engineer.1
