     Colonel Thomas Henry Sebag-Montefiore was born on 9 November 1887.1 He was the son of Arthur Sebag-Montefiore and Harriette Hannah Beddington.1 He married Irene Catherine Cohen, daughter of Sir Leonard Lionel Cohen and Eliza Henrietta Schloss, on 11 December 1919.1 He died on 11 June 1954 at age 66.1
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.1 He was commissioned in 1906, in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1914.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, in France, Belgium, Italy and Germany.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1917.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in 1932.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1934.1 He was commander of the 1st Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was Commandant of the 125 OCTU, Royal Artillery between 1939 and 1944.1

     Irene Catherine Cohen was born on 19 June 1891 at 27 Sussex Square, London, EnglandG.2,3 She was the daughter of Sir Leonard Lionel Cohen and Eliza Henrietta Schloss.1,2 She married Colonel Thomas Henry Sebag-Montefiore, son of Arthur Sebag-Montefiore and Harriette Hannah Beddington, on 11 December 1919.1 She died on 3 December 1933 at age 42.1
     She was awarded the Associate, Roytal red Cross (A.R.R.C.)2 From 11 December 1919, her married name became Sebag-Montefiore.1

     Sir Leonard Lionel Cohen was born on 17 April 1858.1 He was the son of Lionel Louis Cohen and Esther Moses.1,2 He married Eliza Henrietta Schloss, daughter of Sigismund Schloss, on 3 December 1885 at Central Synagogue, London, EnglandG.1,3 He died on 10 April 1938 at age 79.1
     He was educated at King's College School, Wimbledon, London, England.1 He was member of the Jewish Board of Guardians between 1888 and 1920.1 He was director of Bengal and NW Railway and Rohilkund and Kumaon Railway.4 He was member of the Committee Stock Exchange between 1896 and 1904.1 He was partner of Louis Cohen and Sons, foreign bankers and of Stock Exchange till its dissolution before 1901.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1930.1 He lived at Wellingrove, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.4
