     Henry Hodgens was born in 1824 at Rathfarnham, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He was the son of Robert Hodgens and Bridget Conlon.2 He married Mary Christina Devereux, daughter of John Thomas Devereux.2 He married Mary Josephine O'Callaghan, daughter of Hugh O'Callaghan, on 8 February 1866.2 He died on 24 January 1911 at Beaufort House, Rathfarnham, County Dublin, Ireland.2
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Beaufort House, Rathfarnham, County Dublin, IrelandG.1

     Emily Frances Hodgens was born circa 1863.2 She was the daughter of Henry Hodgens and Mary Christina Devereux.3,2 She married Colonel John Nugent Cahill, son of Michael Richard Cahill and Margaret Magan, on 29 April 1887 at Rathfarnham, County Dublin, Ireland.1 She died on 29 January 1925 at Ballyconra House, Ballyragget, County Kilkenny, IrelandG.1
     From 29 April 1887, her married name became Cahill.

     Captain John Nugent Cahill was born on 24 March 1890 at Ballyconra House, Ballyragget, County Kilkenny, Ireland.1 He was the son of Colonel John Nugent Cahill and Emily Frances Hodgens.3 He died on 16 August 1917 at age 27 at FranceG, killed in action.3,2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 13th Battalion, Royal Irish Rifles.1,2 He fought in the First World War.1
