     Dora Caldbeck was the daughter of Francis Cope Caldbeck and Anne Curran.2 She married Thomas Roper, son of William Roper and Catherine Penny, on 29 August 1850.1 She died on 12 June 1885.1
     Cumberland.1 By his wife Catherine Penny.1 She lived Kingsidehill.1 S of William Roper.1 From 29 August 1850, her married name became Roper.

     Major Cecil Murphy married Annie Frances Roper, daughter of Thomas Roper and Dora Caldbeck, on 28 January 1875.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1 He had three sons and one daughter.1

     Alice Mary Young was born in 1877 at Clapham, Surrey, EnglandG.1,2 She was the daughter of Jasper Young and Julia C. (?)3,2 She married Major William Caldbeck Roper-Caldbeck, son of Thomas Roper and Dora Caldbeck, on 1 December 1898 at Kensington, London, EnglandG.1,2 She died on 8 May 1968.1
     From 1 December 1898, her married name became Roper-Caldbeck. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk in 1926.1 She lived at Southrepps Hall, Norwich, Norfolk, EnglandG.1

     George Reginald Roper-Caldbeck was born on 3 May 1904.1 He was the son of Major William Caldbeck Roper-Caldbeck and Alice Mary Young.2 He married Pamela Harvey, daughter of Edward John Harvey, on 10 March 1934.1 He died in 1993.3
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Gordon Highlanders.1 He lived in 1976 at Glenlee, Mains, Dairy, by Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbrightshire, ScotlandG.1
