Reverend Phillip John Wodehouse1

     Reverend Phillip John Wodehouse was born on 6 October 1836.1 He was the son of Colonel Philip Wodehouse and Lydia Lea.2 He married, firstly, Constance Helen Browne, daughter of Wade Browne, on 20 January 1876.1 He married, secondly, Marion Bryan Wallas, daughter of Reverend Gilbert Innes Wallas and Frances Talbot Peacock, on 25 September 1879.2 He died on 8 December 1917 at age 81.1
     He graduated from Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Rector between 1875 and 1913 at Bratton Fleming, Devon, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Prebendary of Exeter between 1905 and 1917.1

Constance Helen Browne1

     Constance Helen Browne was the daughter of Wade Browne.2 She married Reverend Phillip John Wodehouse, son of Colonel Philip Wodehouse and Lydia Lea, on 20 January 1876.1 She died on 23 February 1877, without issue.1
     Her married name became Wodehouse.

     Marion Bryan Wallas was the daughter of Reverend Gilbert Innes Wallas and Frances Talbot Peacock.2,3 She married Reverend Phillip John Wodehouse, son of Colonel Philip Wodehouse and Lydia Lea, on 25 September 1879.1 She died on 30 December 1922.
     Her married name became Wodehouse.

     Reverend Gilbert Innes Wallas was born on 25 March 1821 at Madeira, Portugal.2 He was the son of Robert Wallas and Jane Burnett Innes.2 He married Frances Talbot Peacock.2 He died on 7 September 1890 at age 69 at Crediton, Devon, England.2
     He was the Rector at Shobroke, Devon, EnglandG.1

     Captain Philip George Wodehouse was born on 26 November 1883.1 He was the son of Reverend Phillip John Wodehouse and Marion Bryan Wallas.1,2 He married, firstly, Beaujolois Theresa Constance Ridout, daughter of Arthur George Ridout and Beaujolais Mabel Fanshawe, on 25 October 1915.1 He and Beaujolois Theresa Constance Ridout were divorced in 1928.1 He married, secondly, Alice Margaret Rowe, daughter of William Rowe, in June 1928.1 He died on 4 April 1973 at age 89.1
     He was awarded the Italian Bronze Medal for Military Valour.1 He was awarded the Order of the Crown of Italy.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.2 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Beaujolois Theresa Constance Ridout was the daughter of Arthur George Ridout and Beaujolais Mabel Fanshawe.2,3 She married Captain Philip George Wodehouse, son of Reverend Phillip John Wodehouse and Marion Bryan Wallas, on 25 October 1915.1 She and Captain Philip George Wodehouse were divorced in 1928.1 She died in 1986.1
     Her married name became Wodehouse.
