Charles Wentworth Dilke1

     Charles Wentworth Dilke was born on 25 November 1742.1 He was the son of Wentworth Dilke Wentworth and Winifred Street.2 He married Sarah Blewford on 17 February 1783.1 He died on 25 March 1826 at age 83.1
     He also had two daughters.1

     Sarah Blewford married Charles Wentworth Dilke, son of Wentworth Dilke Wentworth and Winifred Street, on 17 February 1783.1 She died on 27 October 1825.1
     From 17 February 1783, her married name became Dilke.

Charles Wentworth Dilke1

     Charles Wentworth Dilke was born on 8 December 1789.1 He was the son of Charles Wentworth Dilke and Sarah Blewford.2 He married Maria Dove Walker.1 He died on 10 August 1864 at age 74.1
     He also had two daughters.1

Sir Charles Wentworth Dilke, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Charles Wentworth Dilke, 1st Bt. was born on 18 February 1810.1 He was the son of Charles Wentworth Dilke and Maria Dove Walker.2 He married Mary Chatfield, daughter of William Chatfield, on 30 March 1840.1 He died on 11 May 1869 at age 59.1
     He was educated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He was Chairman of the Society of Arts.1 He was Chairman of the Royal Horticultural Society.1 He took a prominent part in the International Exhibitions of 1851 and 1862.1 He was created 1st Baronet Dilke, of Sloane Street, Chelsea [U.K.] on 22 January 1862.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wallingford between 1865 and 1868.2

     Mary Chatfield was the daughter of William Chatfield.2 She married Sir Charles Wentworth Dilke, 1st Bt., son of Charles Wentworth Dilke and Maria Dove Walker, on 30 March 1840.1 She died on 16 September 1853.1
     From 30 March 1840, her married name became Dilke.

     Rt. Hon. Sir Charles Wentworth Dilke, 2nd Bt. was born on 4 September 1843.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Wentworth Dilke, 1st Bt. and Mary Chatfield.2 He married, firstly, Katherine Mary Eliza Snell, daughter of Captain Arthur Gore Snell, on 30 January 1872.1 He married, secondly, Emilia Frances Strong, daughter of Major Henry Strong, on 3 October 1885.1 He died on 26 January 1911 at age 67.1
     He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Laws (LL.M.)1 He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Chelsea between 1868 and 1886.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dilke, of Sloane Street, Chelsea [U.K., 1862] on 11 May 1869.2 He held the office of Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Foreign Affairs between 1880 and 1882.1 He and Mary Martha Dalrymple were associated.3 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1882.1 He held the office of President of the Local Government Board between 1882 and 1885.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for the Forest of Dean between 1892 and 1911.1

     Katherine Mary Eliza Snell was the daughter of Captain Arthur Gore Snell.2 She married Rt. Hon. Sir Charles Wentworth Dilke, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Charles Wentworth Dilke, 1st Bt. and Mary Chatfield, on 30 January 1872.1 She died on 20 September 1874.1
     From 30 January 1872, her married name became Dilke.
