     Frances Mary Hester Bowles was the daughter of Captain Francis Alan Richard Bowles.2 She married Commander Noel Wilbraham Dixon, son of Edward Wilbraham Dixon and Alice Isobel Hardcastle Sykes, on 18 July 1917.1 She died on 3 March 1941, while on active service.1
     She gained the rank of Senior Commandant in the Auxiliary Territorial Service.1 From 18 July 1917, her married name became Dixon.

John Aylmer Christie-Miller, son of Colonel Sir Geoffry Christie-Miller and Kathleen Olive Thorpe, on 28 October 1939.1 She died on 15 November 1992 at age 74.1
     She graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1938 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1
