     Emma Margaret Salmond was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir William Salmond and Emma Mary Hoyle.2 She married Andrew Ramsay Don-Wauchope, son of Sir John Don-Wauchope of Newton Don, 8th Bt. and Bethia Hamilton Carrick-Buchanan, on 28 October 1903.1 She died on 14 December 1959.
     Emma Margaret Salmond also went by the nick-name of Maizie.1 From 28 October 1903, her married name became Don-Wauchope.

John Andrew Don-Wauchope1

     John Andrew Don-Wauchope was born on 24 March 1910.1 He was the son of Andrew Ramsay Don-Wauchope and Emma Margaret Salmond.2 He married Yona Marie Plew, daughter of Ferdinand Plew, on 14 July 1931.1 He died on 30 May 1940 at age 30 at Dunkirk, FranceG, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Highland Light Infantry.1

     Yona Marie Plew is the daughter of Ferdinand Plew.1 She married, secondly, John Andrew Don-Wauchope, son of Andrew Ramsay Don-Wauchope and Emma Margaret Salmond, on 14 July 1931.1 She married, thirdly, Brigadier David Campbell Mullen on 14 December 1941.1
     Her married name became Gillies.1 From 14 July 1931, her married name became Don-Wauchope. From 14 December 1941, her married name became Mullen.1

     Georgiana Renira Buchan Fitzjohn was the daughter of George Fitzjohn.2 She married Patrick Hamilton Don-Wauchope, son of Sir John Don-Wauchope of Newton Don, 8th Bt. and Bethia Hamilton Carrick-Buchanan, on 10 June 1897.1 She died on 5 May 1928.1
     From 10 June 1897, her married name became Don-Wauchope.

     Sir Patrick George Don-Wauchope of Edmonstone and Newton Don, 10th Bt. was born on 7 May 1898.1 He was the son of Patrick Hamilton Don-Wauchope and Georgiana Renira Buchan Fitzjohn.2 He married Ismay Lilian Ursula Hodges, daughter of Sidney Richard Hodges, on 15 August 1936.1 He and Ismay Lilian Ursula Hodges were divorced in 1947.1 He died on 15 September 1989 at age 91.1
     He was educated at Edinburgh Academy, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He fought in the First World War, in teh Royal Field Artillery, and was wounded.1 He was a horticulturist.1 He fought in the Second World War, in Italy.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Don, of Newton Don [N.S., 1667] on 28 April 1951.1

W. Shipman in 1989.1
