     John Hyacinth Talbot was born circa 1794.2 He was the son of Matthew Talbot.1 He married Anne Eliza Redmond, daughter of Walter Redmond, in 1822.2 He married Eliza Power, daughter of Sir John Power and Mary Brenan, in 1851.2 He died on 11 April 1868.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Ross, County Wexford between 1832 and 1841.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Ross, County Wexford between 1847 and 1852.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Wexford in 1855.2
