     Lt.-Col. John Power was the son of Piers Power and unknown wife (?)2 He married Catherine Eustace before 1692.1 He died on 20 August 1725 at Paris, FranceG, allegedly murdered by a servant.1,3
     In 1688 he was outlawed.1 Between 1693 and 1702 he was at the Stuart Court of St. Germain.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the in the service of King James II in Ireland.1 He received a licence to return to England from Queen Anne.1 He held the office of Mayor of Limerick, during the Siege.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baron le Power and Coroghmore, co. Waterford [I., 1535] on 19 August 1704, de jure.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Dublin Regiment of Foot.1
