     John Evans Delmege was born in 1830.1 He was the son of Reverend John Delmege and Maria Anna Barry.2 He married Constantia Studdert, daughter of Richard Studdert and Frances Massy, on 5 December 1865.1 He died in 1892.1
     He was admitted to King's Inn in 1852 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1852 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1856 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.1 He lived at Mountgraigue, Droom, County Limerick, IrelandG.1
