     Margaret Dalway was the daughter of John Dalway and unknown daughter O'Neill.2,1 She married John Dobbs, son of Sir Richard Dobbs, in 1603.1 She died on 6 November 1620.1
     From 1603, her married name became Dobbs.

     Richard Dobbs was born in 1634.1 He was the son of Hercules Dobbs and Magdalen West.2 He married Dorothy Williams, daughter of Bryan Williams, in 1655.1
     He also had three daughters.1 He lived at Castle Dobbs, County Antrim, IrelandG.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Castle Dobbs in 1664.1

     Richard Dobbs was born in 1660.1 He was the son of Richard Dobbs and Dorothy Williams.2 He married, firstly, Mary Stewart, daughter of Archibald Stewart.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Clugston.2 He died in 1711.2
     He served in King William III's Army in Ireland until the Second Siege of Limerick and the Treaty of Surrender.1 He held the office of Mayor of Carrickfergus.1 On 14 June 1690 he welcomed William of Orange on his landing in Ireland as Mayor of Carrickfergus.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Antrim in 1694.1 He lived at Castle Dobbs, County Antrim, IrelandG.1 He had three daughtes by his second wife.2
