     Reverend Arthur Vaughan Dobbs was the son of Reverend Arthur Macauly Dobbs and Katherine Sarah Reid.2 He died on 16 April 1930, unmarried.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was ordained in 1902.1 He was the Rector at Eglinton, County Londonderry, IrelandG.1 He was educated at Royal School Armagh, Armagh, County Armagh, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Canon of Derry in 1921.1 He held the office of Rural Dean (R.D.) of Limavady in 1927.1

Richard Conway Dobbs1

     Richard Conway Dobbs was born on 21 November 1878.1 He was the son of Reverend Arthur Macauly Dobbs and Katherine Sarah Reid.2 He married Marion Hamilton Bowen Powell, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Bowen Powell, on 8 February 1912 at Quetta, Bengal, India.1,3 He and Marion Hamilton Bowen Powell were divorced in 1930.1 He died on 26 June 1957 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Royal School Armagh, Armagh, County Armagh, IrelandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches four times.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He fought in the Iraq Campaign in 1920, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1926.1 He retired from the military in 1929, with the rank of Major, late of the 4th Royal Irish Fusiliers.1 He lived at 1 Camowen Terrace, Omagh, County Tyrone, IrelandG.1

     Lt.-Col. William Bowen Powell was born on 28 February 1868.2 He was the son of Eyre Burton Powell and Elizabeth Hamilton Matilda de Jourions Langley.2 He was baptised on 9 May 1868 at Madras, India.2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2/7th Gurkha Rifles, Indian Army.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) on 23 October 1919.1,2

     Marion Hamilton Bowen Powell was born in 1892.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Bowen Powell.3 She married Richard Conway Dobbs, son of Reverend Arthur Macauly Dobbs and Katherine Sarah Reid, on 8 February 1912 at Quetta, Bengal, India.1,2 She and Richard Conway Dobbs were divorced in 1930.1
     From 8 February 1912, her married name became Dobbs.

     Richard Arthur William Dobbs was born on 21 November 1912.1 He was the son of Richard Conway Dobbs and Marion Hamilton Bowen Powell.3 He married Ann Elizabeth Stoker, daughter of Irving Noel Thornley Stoker, on 25 April 1936.1 He died on 31 January 1939 at age 26, killed in a flying accident off Alexandria (from H.M.S. Glorious).1
     He was also known as Peter.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1
